Euro Arab Instituite for Dialogue between Cultures


The Inauguration ceremony took place in Rome, at the University "Roma Tre", on the 9th of November 2012. To the ceremony participated: the President of the Tunisian National Assembly, Mustapha Ben Jaafar, the first Vice President of the European Parliament, Gianni Pitella, the State Secretary of European Affairs of Tunisia, Touhami Abdouli, the UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations, Jorge Sampaio, the Arab Gran Poet and President of "Foundation Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain's Prize for Poetic Creativity", Abdulaziz Al-Babtain, the President of the University "Roma Tre", Guido Fabiani, the President of the University "Roma Tre", Luigi Moccia, the President of the Centre of excellence Altiero Spinelli (CeAS), and Mohamedd Aziz Ben Achour, the Director General of the Arab League Educational Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). At the presence of a large audience of ambassadors, local authorities, journalists, media reporters, and university students, Abdulaziz Al-Babtain inaugurated officially the Institute, delivering the inaugural lecture.
