\nThe centre of excellence\u00a0 Centro Altiero Spinelli per l\u2019Europa dei Popoli e la Pace nel Mondo\/Centre Altiero Spinelli for Peoples\u2019 Europe and Peace in the World<\/strong>\u00a0 was born in 2003 within the framework of the\u00a0Jean Monnet Action\u00a0for the establishment of\u00a0university Centres of excellence<\/a>\u00a0in the field of European studies.<\/p>\n

Originally located at University Roma Tre<\/a>, the Centre was founded on the initiative of\u00a0 prof. Luigi Moccia<\/a>, Jean Monnet Chair, who directed it until the cessation of its activities as university centre in 2020.<\/p>\n

In 2021 the Association of the same name and acronym was set up to take over, preserve and develop in continuity with the centre of excellence its scientific-cultural activities.<\/p>\n

The website is currently managed by CeAS Association under the responsibility of scholars and experts, in order to valorise the wealth of materials and documentation accumulated throughout the period in which CeAS was active as university centre, keeping it updated and continuing to promote, to project and sustain initiatives in the field of European studies.<\/p>\n

Although part of the documentation and materials produced over the years \u2015and here available\u2015 are in Italian, the choice of English as the \u201cofficial\u201d language of this website has been maintained to facilitate its accessibility by a large audience of users.<\/p>\n Read More \u00bb<\/span><\/a>\n<\/div><\/div>
